Description
ConGlobal is hiring an Intermodal Equipment Operator, also known as a Terminal Operator, to safely and efficiently move shipping containers in an intermodal yard. The role operates hostlers, cranes, top loaders, and side loaders to load, unload, position, stack, and relocate containers from railcars and trucks, while inspecting equipment, coordinating with yard personnel, and maintaining safe work practices. The position requires a valid driver’s license, physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders and stairs, flexible availability including weekends and holidays, and successful background, physical, and drug screening. Previous heavy-equipment experience is preferred, along with intermodal or rail-yard experience and familiarity with container-handling equipment.
