ASM is offering a summer 2026 internship in Leuven, Belgium for students or early-career researchers interested in computational chemistry, data science, and AI-driven materials discovery. The intern will build a machine-readable chemical library, curate molecular and property data, perform descriptor calculations and DFT simulations, develop predictive models, and document workflows for future AI projects. Preferred qualifications include a master’s or PhD in a relevant field, DFT experience, Python and Jupyter skills, and interest in machine learning.
