Hays Electrical Services is hiring a paid Controls & Low-Voltage Systems Intern for a 10–12-week summer program in Houston, Texas, with potential travel to project sites across Texas. The intern will support low-voltage system layouts, network infrastructure planning, BIM/VDC clash detection and model updates, OT/IT integration documentation, and site visits observing installation and commissioning. The role requires a student pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or a related field, basic networking knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and with field teams; familiarity with BIM software, building automation, or controls programming is preferred.
