Description
Microchip Technology Inc. is hiring an Applications Engineering Intern for its Data Center Solutions Business Unit. The intern will support applications engineering by developing tools and demonstrations, bringing up and debugging evaluation boards, setting up laboratory equipment, recreating and troubleshooting customer-reported problems, developing firmware and diagnostic tools, providing product training, demonstrating features at events, and performing performance and power analysis. The role requires current enrollment in an electrical, computer, or computer science engineering program, basic computer architecture knowledge, programming experience, and troubleshooting and communication skills. The position may be performed in the United States, requires 0–25% travel, and offers an hourly pay range of $22.00 to $30.00.
