Description
TxDOT’s Abilene District is hiring an Engineering Intern for its optional part-time or full-time intern program at the Abilene District Office. The intern will support transportation engineering activities, including construction and maintenance inspections, laboratory testing, data collection and analysis, surveying, drafting, traffic counts, and preparation of construction documents. Candidates must be enrolled in an engineering or related science degree program accepted by TX PELS and be at least 16 years old; the role is physically demanding and requires a pre-employment physical and drug testing.
