Description
L3Harris is hiring an Intern, Manufacturing Engineer in Tempe, Arizona, to support the production of high-reliability electronic hardware for Tactical Satellite equipment. The role covers SMT solder assembly, mechanical integration, environmental testing, work instructions, process procedures, tool and equipment qualification, non-conformance reviews, engineering changes, labor standards, process controls, new product introductions, root-cause investigations, and continuous improvement. Applicants must be pursuing or have recently completed a bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, chemical, or industrial engineering or a related field; soldering, CAD, Lean Six Sigma, and statistical software experience are preferred. The schedule is 9 out of every 14 days totaling 80 hours, with every other Friday off.
