Description
L3Harris is hiring a Mechanical Engineer Intern to support new product development and factory support of existing products. The role translates product requirements into mechanical specifications and test plans, conducts structural and thermal analysis and verification testing, generates test procedures, processes engineering change orders, and collaborates with mechanical designers on CAD models and part documentation. Candidates must be pursuing a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, engineering mechanics, materials science engineering, or a related field. The position is based in Malabar, Florida or Palm Bay, Florida, on a 9/80 schedule.
