Description
Arconic is hiring a full-time Metallurgical Engineering Intern for a minimum 10-week summer assignment at its Alcoa, Tennessee location. The intern will shadow the Metallurgical Engineering group, research and complete assigned projects, use Microsoft Office to prepare and present materials, and support engineering projects and initiatives. Candidates must be currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Metallurgical Engineering, Material Sciences, or a related engineering field with a materials or material sciences focus, and must be authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available. A GPA of 3.0 or above, extracurricular involvement, prior work experience, and an expected graduation date in 2027 or Spring 2028 are preferred.
