Description
The University Athletic Association at the University of Florida is hiring an Intern to support home athletic event planning and management. The role monitors parking lots and staff, weather, facility maintenance inspections, security, set-up and tear-down, and day-to-day management for game-day and non-game-day events. It requires lifting up to 50 pounds, strong communication and multitasking skills, and availability for early mornings, late evenings, weekends, holidays, and potential overnight travel. The position is time-limited, may continue for a second year, and is compensated at the current Florida minimum wage with benefits including health, dental, life, LTD, AD&D, tuition reimbursement, pension, recognition programs, and paid time off.
