Hays Electrical Services is hiring a Prefab Engineering Intern for a paid 10–12-week summer program in Houston, Texas, with potential travel to project sites across Texas. The intern will support the design and drafting of prefabricated electrical assemblies, bill of materials creation, process improvement, quality control, shop workflow, production scheduling, and coordination with estimating, BIM/VDC, and field operations. The role requires a student pursuing a relevant bachelor's degree, basic manufacturing knowledge, shop-environment comfort, problem-solving ability, and Microsoft Office proficiency; CAD experience is preferred. The program includes mentorship, cross-departmental exposure, a capstone presentation, and consideration for full-time employment for strong performers.
