Description
Evergy is hiring an Intern – Project Controls Analyst for its summer 2027 internship program. The intern will work under Development Project Managers and Project Controls Analysts on conventional and renewable development projects, including renewable and natural gas-fired generation efforts. Responsibilities include tracking invoices and purchase orders, verifying project scopes and schedules, supporting project reporting system enhancements, and contributing to process improvement initiatives. The internship is scheduled Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with possible on-site work, and is available in Kansas City, Topeka, or Wichita. Candidates must be currently enrolled in a university degree program in business, engineering, finance, accounting, or a related field; proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation software is preferred. The pay range is $19.00 to $23.00.
