Cowboy Space Corporation is hiring a quarter-long internship for a satellite software engineer to design, develop, test, and debug software across flight, embedded, and ground systems. The role covers avionics, guidance/navigation/control, satellite bus and payload software, signal processing, RF/optical communication pipelines, on-orbit compute infrastructure, mission operations, telemetry, and satellite health monitoring. The intern will collaborate with hardware and systems engineering teams, build simulation and hardware-in-the-loop frameworks, and contribute to code reviews and technical documentation. Applicants must be currently enrolled in a relevant STEM program and have strong software engineering fundamentals; compensation is $1,800 weekly.
