L3Harris is hiring an Intern, Structural Engineer in Waco, Texas, on a 9/80 schedule. The role performs structural analysis of aircraft modifications, supports design, prepares technical documentation for airworthiness, and determines stress levels in aircraft structures, systems, and equipment to predict failure and structural instability. Candidates must be pursuing a bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Engineering Mechanics, Materials Science Engineering, or a related field; CAD or FEA exposure and mechanical design or analysis experience are preferred.
