TAI Engineers, LLC is offering an intern position for a Structural Engineer in New Orleans, LA. The intern will perform routine assignments under close supervision, applying standard design techniques and procedures. Responsibilities include supporting finite element model preparation, preparing technical reports, conducting structural analysis using beam analysis software and hand calculations, designing and analyzing marine structures, and being familiar with marine engineering guidelines like ABS and DNV Rules. The ideal candidate will be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in an engineering discipline, capable of executing multiple projects, planning work independently or in a team setting, and possessing strong communication and mathematical skills. While prior internship experience is preferred, it is not mandatory. Candidates must also be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
