Wise is hiring an Internal Audit Senior Manager to join its APAC Internal Audit team based in Tokyo, Japan. The role supports the internal audit assurance framework, continuous monitoring, automated audit routines, annual audit planning, audit delivery, team development, recommendation implementation, stakeholder relationships, and regulatory and external auditor liaison. It requires 10+ years of experience in internal audit, risk, or control within fintech, digital banking, retail brokerage, or high-growth technology, along with Japanese regulatory knowledge, strong Japanese and English communication skills, and the ability to lead complex audits and teams. The position is Tokyo-based with travel as needed and offers a base salary of JPY 20,000,000–25,000,000 plus RSUs, along with stock options, parental leave, and global travel opportunities.
