Infineon is hiring a System Application Engineer for its International Graduate Program, focusing on efficient, reliable power-delivery solutions for DC-powered AI server IT racks. The role includes three six-month assignments in San Jose, California; El Segundo, California; and Taipei, Taiwan, followed by a final placement in Infineon’s Silicon Valley headquarters. The engineer will design, simulate, validate, and integrate high-efficiency DC/DC converters, hot-swap systems, power trees, redundancy, and dynamic power management, with a final full-time employee conversion. The position requires a recent graduate with a master’s or Ph.D. in electrical engineering, power-electronics experience, closed-loop control experience, strong collaboration skills, fluent English, and U.S. work authorization.
