Vattenfall is hiring a full-time Hydro Power Optimisation and Data Analytics Engineer Trainee in Luleå, Sweden, to join Production Support and Business Unit Hydro Nordics. The role combines analytical problem-solving with hands-on development, using production, operational, and market data to evaluate performance, identify improvements, support generating-unit optimisation, and develop models, dashboards, forecasts, and decision-support tools. Candidates need a relevant engineering or science degree, knowledge of data analysis, statistics, optimisation, modelling or simulation, programming or analytical-tool experience, and fluency in Swedish and English. The programme starts March 1, 2027, and applications close October 18, 2026.
