INNIO is hiring an Intern - 1D Dynamics Simulation to join its mechanical simulation team in Jenbach, Austria. The role supports product development for Jenbacher and Waukesha high-performance industrial reciprocating gas engines by developing finite element methods, performing 1D dynamic modeling of valvetrain and torsional vibration components, verifying models against test data, and collaborating with production and application engineering teams. Candidates should have a mechanical engineering degree or be working toward one, with strong simulation, Python, data visualization, analytical, problem-solving, and English communication skills. The internship is full-time for at least six months and pays at least EUR 2,698.59 gross per month under the Austrian collective agreement.
