ABB is hiring a Plant Advanced Control and Optimization Intern to support advanced control and optimization projects for power generation and energy industries. The intern will develop and validate dynamic plant models in Modelica, identify empirical process models, support multivariable Model Predictive Control applications, develop optimization models with ABB OPTIMAX, analyze plant performance data, and contribute technical documentation. The role is hybrid, contributes to the Process Automation Energy Industries in Central-South Europe, and requires a completed or final-year master's degree in a relevant engineering discipline, along with Italian and English communication skills.
