Framatome is hiring an internship to develop a design of experiments for numerical welding simulation, focusing on residual stresses in multipass pipe welds and supporting metamodel development. The intern will learn Framatome’s Visual-Mesh and SYSWELD tools, select simulation parameters, perform numerical design of experiments, develop verification and post-processing tools, and conduct statistical sensitivity analyses. The role is based in Lyon, France, requires a Bac+4 or Bac+5 qualification in mechanics, processes, or numerical simulation, and offers an annual gross salary of EUR 12,600–17,400.
