Description
The Perryman Company is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern to join its team in the summer of 2027. The intern will assist with assembling, testing, troubleshooting, and modifying electrical equipment and systems, including motors, motor controls, switch panels, PLCs, HMIs, hydraulic and pneumatic controls, and other electronic systems. Responsibilities also include developing wiring diagrams and engineering specifications, diagnosing electrical failures, performing systems testing, identifying process improvements, and collaborating with the engineering team on equipment needs and efficiencies. The role requires progress toward a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related engineering field, the ability to work under supervision in a fast-paced environment, strong communication skills, and self-motivation; AutoCAD knowledge is a plus.
