Infineon is hiring a USB‑C/USB‑PD Firmware and Hardware Validation Engineer in Austin, Texas. The role develops and customizes firmware for reference designs and USB‑PD controller solutions, validates firmware and hardware against customer requirements, performs interoperability and compliance testing, writes application notes, debugs interfaces and power circuits using oscilloscopes and protocol analyzers, and documents test results. The posting prefers a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant engineering or computer science field, embedded systems and microcontroller experience, bench-instrument skills, and familiarity with USB, USB‑PD, Type‑C, I2C, SPI, and UART; analog and power-circuit knowledge is a bonus.
