Description
Stellantis is hiring a six-month Energy Optimization Engineer intern to measure and model the energy cost of restarting a combustion engine on an xHEV powertrain. The role involves reviewing combustion-starting phenomena, defining test indicators, designing experiments, conducting powertrain and chassis-dynamometer tests, analyzing measurement uncertainty, developing a simulation-ready model or correction, and validating it against measurements. The intern should be pursuing a Bac+4/5 degree in mechanical, automotive, embedded systems, or a related engineering field, with knowledge of thermodynamics, energy engineering, hybrid architectures, MATLAB/Simulink, Python, and experimental methods.
