Framatome is hiring an intern to improve the global-to-local finite element analysis method for steam generator tube-sheet nozzles. The intern will learn SYSTUS and perform mechanical, thermal, and thermomechanical finite element studies; develop Python scripts to transfer environmental stresses from a global model to a local nozzle model; propose more realistic and efficient method modifications; compare methods; and prepare a report and presentation. The internship is based in Saint-Marcel, France, and offers a gross annual salary of EUR 12,600–17,400.
