Daimler Truck is hiring a six-month Materials Analytics Intern for its Battery Technology Center in Mannheim. The intern will independently develop and validate analytical methods, conduct physical, chemical, mechanical, and microscopic examinations of battery-cell and battery-pack samples, document and interpret results, and follow laboratory safety and waste-handling procedures. The role requires a degree program in chemistry, chemical engineering, materials science, physics, or a comparable field, laboratory experience with hazardous substances, fluent German and English, and strong IT skills.
