INTERNSHIP - Java Software Development Engineer - M/F at Thales

Thales is hiring a 6-month internship for a software developer focused on improving the user interface and user experience of an air traffic control HMI in Java Swing. The intern will join the Operational Display software team, collaborate with engineers, developers, domain specialists, HMI experts, and UX designers, optimize HMI features, validate operational concepts, and write an internship report. The role is initially based at the Massy site and then at the Vélizy-Villacoublay site, requires a computer science Master's degree, Java Swing and C++ knowledge, and familiarity with development and HMI testing tools. The internship includes a stipend and requires a security clearance procedure due to potential access to classified national defence information.
