Description
1X is hiring a Manufacturing Engineering Intern to develop repeatable manufacturing and assembly processes for prototype and pre-production robot parts, build and improve fixtures and workflows, validate durability, maintain CAD and process documentation, and partner with design and engineering on manufacturability improvements. The role requires hands-on manufacturing or mechanical engineering experience, basic CAD skills, physical work experience, and current study in engineering or a related field; prior work in manufacturing processes, fixturing, robotics, mechatronics, or hardware projects is preferred. Compensation is $35.00 per hour, with a $2,500 monthly housing stipend and other benefits.
