CEA is hiring a six-month internship for a master’s-level candidate to evaluate and develop agent-based programming solutions for porting scientific software originally written in Fortran to Python or C++. The role involves analyzing existing code, generating test suites, translating and validating the software, and redesigning its architecture to support future numerical schemes, meshing strategies, and GPU-based libraries. Candidates should have proficiency in object-oriented programming, version control, numerical methods and scientific simulation, and AI and agent-based programming, along with a master’s degree.
