CEA is hiring a five- to six-month internship for a Master’s Year 1/2 student in Mechanical and Thermal Engineering. The role focuses on analyzing dynamic tests of a prestressed mass-spring system, comparing implicit and explicit solvers in Abaqus, validating a computational model, and studying sensitivity to geometry, materials, and contact parameters. The internship is based at the Valduc center in France and is open to candidates with mechanical engineering, materials, and simulation expertise.
