Internship – Master’s Year 1/2 – Exact Diagonalization Solver for DMFT in ABINIT – M/F at ADSN Career

CEA is seeking a six-month internship for a Master’s Year 1/2 student to develop an exact-diagonalization solver for density-functional-theory plus dynamical-mean-field-theory calculations in ABINIT. The internship begins with studying the EDIpack solver and the spectral-function evolution during the BCC-to-FCC phase transition of iron, then proceeds to coupling the ED solver to the existing DMFT loop in ABINIT. The position is co-supervised by B. Amadon and F. Gendron and is based in Bruyères-le-Châtel, Essonne, France.
