Description

Arcadis is hiring an intern as a CFD modeler for technical fish passages within its Water Quality and Ecology team. The role involves calculating, analyzing, and interpreting technical fish passages using modeling, preferably 3D CFD tools such as flow-3D or ANSYS Fluent, and evaluating how different designs affect fish migration. The intern will test boundary conditions, assumptions, and design guidelines against simulations and real-world situations, with supervision from a dedicated Arcadis specialist. The internship is available from September for at least four months, preferably five, and requires an HBO or WO degree in ecology, water, civil engineering, modeling, or CFD, along with Dutch and English proficiency.
