Description
This internship investigates and develops quantum-computing-based approaches for mesh partitioning and graph optimization in plasma simulations. The intern will study meshing and graph-partitioning methods, develop hybrid quantum-classical workflows, evaluate quantum-embedding strategies, benchmark quantum-assisted approaches against classical techniques, and collaborate with ASML and TNO researchers. The internship runs from as soon as possible until 31 December 2026, for approximately three to four months, and is based at TNO Delft and ASML Veldhoven.
