Infineon is hiring a Test and Finish Equipment Engineering Intern or Co-Op for its Equipment Engineering Operations Engineering team in Leominster, Massachusetts. The role provides hands-on sustaining support to manufacturing operators and technicians, operates and commissions complex backend semiconductor test and finish equipment, runs qualification experiments, optimizes equipment parameters, troubleshoots mechanical and assembly-screening issues, supports Lean/Six Sigma and statistical process control initiatives, and creates CAD drawings and process documentation. Candidates need progress toward a BS in a relevant engineering field, manufacturing equipment experience or coursework, CAD and Microsoft Office skills, SPC familiarity, and US citizenship or permanent residency.
