Description
The San José Police Department is hiring an Interoperability Communications Systems Manager to lead the implementation and coordination of complex voice and data interoperable communications projects, including SVRIA and UASI initiatives. The role manages technical and management guidance, resource allocation, intergovernmental agreements, grant applications, system monitoring, and coordination with public safety agencies and regional authorities. It requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, five years of technology program and systems experience, three years of supervisory experience, and a valid California motor vehicle license; three years of radio and interoperability experience are desirable.
