Description
Colorado Mountain College is seeking nationally or state-certified professional interpreters to teach and mentor adults in its accelerated 120-hour, 13-week interpreter training program across Colorado mountain campuses. The role involves delivering assigned classes, preparing lesson plans, supporting curriculum evaluation and student recruitment, and completing required college training. Candidates need recognized interpreter certification, 3–5+ years of professional interpreting experience, adult teaching or mentoring experience, expertise in medical, court/legal, or community/educational interpreting, knowledge of interpreter ethics and language-access laws, professional bilingual ability (Spanish–English preferred), and willingness to travel among regional campuses. Compensation is $20–$60 per hour based on expertise and instructional qualifications; the employee must reside and work in Colorado, and visa sponsorship is unavailable.
