Community Partners in Action is hiring an Intervention Specialist for its Manchester Alternative in the Community (MAIC) program in Manchester, Connecticut. The role provides cognitive-behavioral interventions to male and female clients involved in the criminal justice system, including individual and group training, case management, client meetings, documentation, data entry, and behavior management. The schedule is Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with Tuesday and Thursday from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and some evening work is required. The position pays $26.49 per hour and requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience, knowledge of criminal justice and cognitive-behavioral approaches, strong communication and decision-making skills, computer literacy, a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and trauma-informed, culturally responsive practice; English-Spanish bilingual skills are preferred.
