Description
The Intervention Specialist provides specialized instruction and individualized learning support to children, designs and assesses intervention programs, develops lesson plans and IEP-related materials, monitors student progress, coaches classroom staff, supports families, and maintains classroom safety and standards. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in special education, an Ohio Department of Education Intervention Specialist License, experience working with children with special needs, strong observation and analytical skills, and availability for extended hours to meet with parents.
