Performance Academies is hiring an Intervention Specialist at South Scioto Performance Academy to provide special education instruction and intervention for students with IEPs, 504 Plans, and Behavior Intervention Plans. The role includes collaborating with general education teachers, implementing accommodations and specialized instruction, monitoring student progress, maintaining service logs and assessment data, advocating for students with disabilities, and developing and coordinating IEP and intervention documentation. The position requires a bachelor's degree, a valid Ohio Intervention Specialist (Special Education) teaching license, background checks, knowledge of IDEA and Ohio special education regulations, experience with student data analysis and progress monitoring, and proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and educational technology. The schedule is 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with attendance at meetings, professional development, conferences, and required trainings.
