Description
Alteva RCM is hiring a Professional Coder to review clinical documentation and assign diagnosis, CPT, and other required codes for professional services. The role supports clean claim submission, reimbursement, coding accuracy, compliance, audit risk reduction, and revenue cycle performance. Responsibilities include coding assigned tickets, researching complex scenarios, escalating documentation issues, maintaining credentials, and meeting productivity and quality targets. The position requires an AHIMA or AAPC-approved coding program with an active credential, at least three years of recent physician or professional services coding experience, and a high school diploma or equivalent; an associate’s or bachelor’s degree is preferred. Compensation is $60,000–$90,000 USD, with health, dental, vision, retirement, and other benefits.
