Description
The Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic interventional exams using imaging equipment, verifies patient identity and medical records, obtains and reviews images, documents findings, communicates with radiologists, responds to medical emergencies, provides post-care instructions, participates in radiology quality and process improvement, and educates residents and student technologists. The role requires ARRT registration in Radiology, Vascular-Interventional Radiography, or Cardiovascular-Interventional Radiography, BLS training, and at least one year of Radiologic Technologist experience.
