Description
The PRN Interventional Radiology Technologist assists physicians with cardiac catheterization and peripheral angiography at the Surgical Center of Central Florida and LVI Outpatient Center. Responsibilities include operating heart and vascular laboratory equipment, maintaining sterile supplies and inventory, transporting and monitoring patients, performing EKG and rhythm recognition, assisting with injections and reports, and maintaining recovery-area standards. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, clinical registration or licensure as an RCVT, RRT, or CCPT, current ACLS certification, and the ability to work independently; an associate's degree and three or more years of cath or vascular laboratory experience are preferred.
