Description
The Academic Interventionist leads adolescent literacy and math improvement at EQA’s high school campuses. The role designs research-based curricula, teaches Tier 2 and Tier 3 interventions, provides small-group and individual tutoring, supports 504 plans and test preparation, monitors student progress, and collaborates with the team to provide appropriate accommodations. The position requires a bachelor’s degree, experience improving adolescent literacy and math skills, knowledge of literacy and math curricula, and experience working restoratively with students facing emotional and behavioral challenges. It is based at 1614 Oretha Castle Haley Blvd., offers an ASAP start, and pays $45,000–$55,000 depending on experience.
