Description
The IDEA Interventionist Teacher provides small-group academic intervention for students in grades K–12 who are at risk in reading and/or math, using universal screening, direct instruction, progress monitoring, and research-based instruction. The role coordinates with general education teachers, implements IDEA curricula and assessments, tracks student progress, communicates with families, manages behavior, and may include after-school tutoring or Saturday school. It is grant-funded with a starting salary of $59,500 for candidates with zero years of experience, plus possible stipends and performance-based compensation, and offers medical, dental, vision, and other benefits.
