Description
The Inventory Supervisor leads inventory control operations and the inventory team in a warehouse or distribution environment. Responsibilities include hiring, training, scheduling, coaching, and performance management; overseeing receiving, shipping, stock tracking, inventory transactions, cycle counts, audits, and discrepancy resolution; analyzing inventory trends; coordinating with purchasing, production, logistics, warehouse, and finance teams; maintaining WMS or inventory software records; preparing reports; and driving process improvements, safety compliance, and operational accuracy. The role requires at least three years of inventory management or inventory control experience, including one to two years of supervisory or leadership experience, along with strong leadership, analytical, organizational, communication, and software skills.
