Description
The Investor Accountant performs routine and complex accounting and financial recordkeeping for a credit union, including journal entries, loan-purchase and sale accounting, amortization and participation-pool schedules, reconciliations, month-end and year-end close support, audits, tax reporting, regulatory reporting, and process improvements. The role also coordinates with internal and third-party personnel, communicates accounting recommendations, and may lead or coach team members on systems and procedures. A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a similar business area and at least five years of professional accounting or finance experience are required.
