Description

The Investor Reporting Analyst generates monthly accounting reports for investors, analyzes results, and ensures accurate and timely report completion. They coordinate with other mortgage servicing departments to comply with investor guidelines, handling routine accounts under established contracts. Responsibilities include creating and distributing loan-level reports, managing cash activities, forecasting advances, reviewing payment histories, maintaining reporting systems, reconciling pool-to-security discrepancies, and analyzing remittance differences.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: One (1) to two (2) years of related experience, including investor accounting and reporting.
Preferred Qualifications: In-depth knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements.
Ability to understand complex problems and to collaborate and explore alternative solutions.
Ability to make decisions that have moderate impact on the immediate work unit.
Ability to organize and prioritize own work schedule on a short-term basis (longer than one month).
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide and to record, balance, and check results for accuracy.
Ability to express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word, communicating orally with others accurately, audibly, and quickly.
Ability to read and understand investor and agency guidelines with regard to investor reporting and accounting, payment application, and custodial accounts.
