Description
The Ion Trap Engineer will develop, set up, operate, characterize, and optimize trapped-ion quantum computers and related test devices. The role involves laboratory experiments, hardware assembly, performance analysis, and hands-on research and development, with collaboration across physics and engineering disciplines. Candidates need a master’s degree or PhD in a relevant field or equivalent experience, AMO physics and quantum-computing platform experience, and fluent English; German is an advantage.
