Description
Qualcomm China is hiring an Embedded Software Engineer to develop software for IoT devices, with a focus on camera, camcorder, and multimedia functions for CDMA, UMTS, and GSM handsets. The role covers end-to-end camera use-case design, feature implementation, debugging, customer support, and collaboration with global teams and external customers. Candidates need 3–10 years of experience in Linux, Android, embedded, Ubuntu, or wearable camera development, along with strong C and C++ skills, Linux kernel and device-driver knowledge, camera HAL and ISP experience, and familiarity with image processing and camera optimization. A bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering or computer science field is required, with a master's degree preferred.
