Description
ASML is hiring a Patent Attorney to support its Corporate Intellectual Property department in San Jose, California. The role partners with engineers, scientists, management, and cross-functional teams to develop and protect a global patent portfolio, manage outside counsel, conduct freedom-to-operate and infringement analyses, advise on IP strategy and licensing, and train employees. The position requires a relevant bachelor’s degree, at least three years of patent experience, United States Patent Office licensure, and licensure in a U.S. state or the District of Columbia. It is primarily on-site with a possible hybrid arrangement of up to two remote days per week, requires some domestic and international travel, and offers a base salary of $170,800 to $234,850 plus bonus and equity.
