Vodafone is hiring an IP Core Network Specialist to provide expert-level technical support, incident management, fault resolution, and service restoration across complex IP/MPLS, transport, and optical network environments. The role handles major incidents and critical outages, performs advanced troubleshooting, supports Level 2 escalations, leads technical bridge calls, conducts root cause analysis, and manages customer-facing escalations. It requires 6 to 8 years of experience in telecom, ISP, or service provider environments, strong knowledge of IS-IS, BGP, MPLS, Segment Routing, traffic engineering, multicast, IPv4/IPv6, and QoS, and hands-on experience with Nokia, Huawei, and Cisco platforms. The specialist will also mentor Level 1 engineers and contribute to operational improvement and technical enablement.
